About Snice
Welcome to SNICE, make yourself welcome, have a look around, leave a comment if you would like, and try not to dirty the place up.
Back in 2006 i had a brainwave or some sort of lapse in judgment and thought it would be a good idea to make a website, having dabbled with a couple of crappy free services before, and no actual training on how to do anything it seemed like a logical step.
So the site started out named something else, and after a few emails from some retard in Auckland i decided it would be way easier to change the name, so SNICE was born.
It just means stunning and nice all at once, it can be said in a sarcastic way, or in a good way, it’s totally up to you, after coming up with this name a few things became apparent.
- SNICE does not mean it is a combination of ice and snow, seriously how dumb would a website on that be?
- SNICE is not a restaurant based in New York, although there is one there called ‘SNice, what would the point of them having a website in New Zealand?
We are New Zealand proud, and the main aim is to keep everything proudly New Zealand orientated.
A lot of New Zealand websites love talking about politics, religion and a whole bunch of technical/computer crap that must entertain someone.
Our aim is to take a lighter look at everything around us, from funny advertisement’s, strange tourist attractions, to any other weird, strange, random thing we can find. If you have something that you would like on the website, please email it into us and we will put it up.
We are based in the mighty H town (Hamilton) which could possibly be one of the boringest city’s in the country. As well as that it’s other claim to fame is being the chlamydia capital of New Zealand, remember Harness the pygmy man before entering the bearded clam and you will be ok. If your not sure where it is please click on the map below.
We update on a semi sort of regular basis, but with the arrival of the SNICE baby we will probably update when we are not waist deep in shitty nappies.
We try and keep all links up to date, but with the nature of the internet links vanish all the time, so just Google it if the link doesn’t work.
So if you have any questions, comments or suggestions please get hold of us via the contact page.
