Hug From a Pirate – Trademe Auction
This auction closed about 20 minutes ago, so if you are wanting to bid on it, sorry you are out of luck my friend.
You could have placed a bid to get a hug from this dude, who likes to dress as a pirate.
Like all good things, he was based in Hamilton, hmmm a close coincidence to poor students. But actually all the money from the auction was going to Starship children’s hospital in Auckland, a very worthwhile cause.
Here is what the auction said:
Today, it hit me that I haven’t given a hug to anyone this year so I decided to sell it on Trademe. I’ll also dress up as a pirate! (Not the illegal downloading type.)
I’m sure i’d be the first pirate you hug this year too!
People now have a week to buy my first hug of the year. I’ll also cover any travelling costs to give you the hug.
Money from the auction will go to Aucklands Starship Children’s Hospital and Foundation
So even though you missed out on the hug from the pirate, keep an eye out on Trademe, as you never know when more amazing hugs will become available. And the winning bid was $103
