Picking the Best Image for Advertising
I guess when you are advertising a product, you have to make sure the pictures you use are the most effective.
You want people to buy the product, and the image on the side of the box along with the written information is what is going to make the sale, unless of course you go to some place where the sales people hang around like a bunch of hungry vultures, hoping that their next customer is in the market for $10,000 worth of home entertainment equipment, from which they could make a nice commission.
The harsh reality is most people only want to buy something small, and 9 times out of 10 they probably don’t want any help in picking out something like, lets just say a popcorn maker.
So this leads to this picture I took from the side of a popcorn maker box, apparently the two giggling middle aged woman sitting in massaging chairs, who seemed to be pretty drunk for the middle of the day seemed to think it was strange I was taking a picture of this.
So from this picture I guess the idea was to show the excitement of the kid waiting for the popcorn to pop, he’s so damn excited it made his left eye go wonky. Could they not photoshop this image?
The more I look at it, the more it look stranger, just imagine about 50 of these boxes all stacked up, and that one wonky eye on every box there as you walk by.

What’s more scary than the wonky eye is, doesn’t that popcorn in the maker strangely resemble the kids missing teeth? Like some freakish teeth collection device??
