Mystery Substance Bombs, it’s only cake mix.
An over excited park ranger discovered the 150m long stretch of yellow and green pellets, and alerted authority’s in Christchurch yesterday.
Police suspect the person dumped this either overnight or early yesterday morning, so if you have seen someone running with a large bag of sugar like substance they may want to talk to you.
For almost three hours, army bomb squad, fire crews, police, ambulance, and apparently some guy from the council who i would like to imagine has the name Ted was there, waiting to see what the substance was.
Turns out it was some type of hundreds and thousands mix, used on cake.
