So Called Mystery Item sold for $440 on Trademe

Another example of idiots with too much money has occurred recently, this time on Trademe.

Someone named gordo419 from Waihi has forked out $440 dollars for a mystery item.

The object was described as a physical item, i.e it is REAL

The poor Christchurch student going by the name Selwyn Pettigrew (possibly a tax dodge name) was surprised when it went for so much, from a description that could be anything. It was the easiest money he has ever made.

The auction drew over 19′000 views before finishing, and if you want to check out some of the comments at the auction CLICK HERE.

So the buyer was worried about being ripped off and it being a con, and also refused to give any interviews, this may be because they are a complete idiot, so when the seller arrives with a bic pen he stole from the university please don’t get mad or angry, as you are the dumbass that brought something physical for $440.

Trademe even scrutinized the auction to make sure proof that and actual physical item was for sale, this probably went along the line of, “do you have something to give the dumbass that wins your auction”

I am now thinking about running my own auction for a “black sack of mystery” who knows what it could contain, the only clue is that it has something in it. Could it be treasure? Money? Or long lost riches? The only way to find out is to bid on it.

What do you think about this auction? Leave a comment.
